Our Council

Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 10019

Who We Are

Holy Family Council 10019 is a council of the Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization, serving the Catholic men of Prince of Peace Parish in Lewiston, Maine. We are united by our Catholic faith and dedicated to serving our parish, our community, and each other.

Founded on the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, our council strives to be a force for good in the greater Lewiston area — supporting the Church, assisting families in need, and forming men of faith and character.

Our Four Pillars

❤️ Charity

We give of ourselves to those in need, supporting local families, our parish, and charitable causes throughout the year.

✏️ Unity

We stand together as Catholic men, strengthening one another in faith and brotherhood through fellowship and shared purpose.

🤝 Fraternity

We build lasting friendships rooted in our shared Catholic faith, supporting one another and our families in good times and in need.

🇺🇸 Patriotism

We honor our country and those who serve it, proudly celebrating our American heritage as Catholic citizens.

What We Do

  • Faith: We lead the Rosary before weekend Masses at Holy Family Church and support vocations through our seminarian sponsorship program.
  • Community Service: We run bottle drives to fund the KofC Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest, support local families, and volunteer throughout Lewiston.
  • Honor Guard: Through Rev. Peter C. Conroy Assembly 2516, our Honor Guard stands vigil at wakes, funerals, and special Church events such as ordinations and solemn Masses.
  • Programs: We organize council events, retreats, and activities that bring Catholic men and their families together throughout the year.
  • Parish Support: We serve Prince of Peace Parish and the greater Lewiston Catholic community in whatever ways are needed.

Rev. Peter C. Conroy Assembly 2516

Our council is home to Rev. Peter C. Conroy Assembly 2516, a Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. The Assembly’s Honor Guard provides a solemn and dignified presence at funerals, wakes, ordinations, and other significant Church events. Fourth Degree membership is open to all Third Degree Knights in good standing.
