About the Assembly
Rev. Peter C. Conroy Assembly 2516 is the Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights of Columbus associated with Holy Family Council 10019 in Lewiston, Maine. The Fourth Degree is the highest degree of the Knights of Columbus and is known as the Patriotic Degree, dedicated to the principle of Patriotism and service to God, Church, and Country.
Our Assembly is proud to maintain an active Honor Guard that stands vigil at wakes, funerals, ordinations, and solemn Church events throughout the Diocese of Portland. We are committed to honoring our Catholic faith, our community, and our country.
Faithful Navigator’s Message
Worthy Sir Knights,
I would like to thank you all for electing me as your new Faithful Navigator. I know I have big shoes to fill as Sir Knight Al Viens did an awesome job trying to make us great again.
The men elected for this term make up a great team! I am excited to put our minds together and become the best Assembly in the State like we were at one time. This can only happen with the help of our wives, family and our Lord. They are our strength.
Our Commander, Dan Lake, has been helping all the Sir Knights that want to learn/practice marching. We currently stand Guard at all wakes and funerals which the deceased families request. We are involved with church events such as special masses, ordinations, etc. Honor Guard practice is on the first Tuesday of the month at 6 PM in the Holy Family Church Hall.
If you are a member of Assembly 2516 and would like to join our Honor Guard but need assistance in purchasing the new uniform, contact us — we can help. We also have accessories to outfit you as an honor guard member including swords.
